Garden Ceremony at UBC Botanical Garden & Elegant Reception at Cecil Green Park House | Vancouver Wedding Photography

As a Vancouver wedding photographer, I’m constantly amazed by the variety of breathtaking venues this city has to offer. This wedding, with a ceremony at the UBC Botanical Garden and reception at Cecil Green Park House, was the perfect example of Vancouver’s natural beauty and timeless charm. The day began with an intimate garden ceremony surrounded by towering trees and lush greenery, creating a peaceful and romantic atmosphere that felt like a hidden forest escape right in the city.

After the couple exchanged vows beneath a canopy of leaves in the amphitheater, we made our way to Cecil Green Park House, another one of my favourite historic venues for wedding photography in Vancouver. With its elegant architecture, (some) ocean views, and manicured gardens, it provided the perfect backdrop for golden hour dinner and a relaxed, joyful reception. From start to finish, every moment of this day was filled with beauty, emotion, and West Coast magic - a true dream for any Vancouver wedding photographer.
